요리 레시피

Danny가 평소 자녀들에게 맛난 음식을 손수 만들어 주는데요,

정말 자주 만들어 먹는 2가지 음식 만드는 법을 팬들에게 공개해줬어요.

터키 미트볼과 엠파나다(Empanadas) 랍니다.


Here's the recipe for my turkey meatballs that a lot of you have asked for.


About to let the meatBalls simmer in my sauce.

2 lbs of ground turkey breast

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 medium onion

3 cloves freshly chopped garlic

3-4 tablespoons fresh basil (or 2 small packs in supermarkets)

2 eggs

½ cup fresh Parmesan cheese

Breadcrumbs (2-4 tablespoon)

Salt and pepper

 

Preheat oven to 400*F

 In a non-stick pan over medium/high heat sauté the onion and garlic till translucent. Then let stand to cool.

 Mix all ingredients (except breadcrumbs) in a large mixing bowl with hands including the onions and garlic.

 Add breadcrumbs gradually till mixture can be worked into shaping balls, but do not dry out mixture.

 Shape into 2-inch balls and space evenly on a non-stick cookie sheet/baking pan.

 Bake for 15-20 minutes, until browned on the outside & cooked through.

 Do not over cook or you will have some dry meatballs.

 Add to your favorite sauce and serve with spaghetti.

 If this batch is to large cut it in half.

20 El Sembrador frozen empanada discs (Or any brand you find in frozen food section)

2 lbs ground turkey meat

2 lbs ground turkey breast

4 tablespoons olive oil

1 large diced onion

8 cloves of minced garlic

½ cup of fresh chopped cilantro

Half of a diced green pepper

Half of a diced yellow pepper

Half of a diced red pepper

2-14oz bag of low-fat Mexican cheese

Olive oil cooking spray

Salt

Pepper

(This is a large batch that serves 8-10 people. To make the batch smaller cut ingredients in half or down to a fourth.)

 

Set oven to bake at 400 degrees.

In a large non-stick pan on medium/high heat, sauté onion, garlic, and all the peppers till tender.

Add all of the ground turkey, salt and pepper to taste and remove from heat when the meat is slightly under cooked.

Place the turkey meat in a strainer to drain excess liquid.

In a large bowl, mix turkey meat, cheese, and cilantro.

With a large spoon, place a generous amount of mixture onto one of the empanada discs.

Fold disc over and close with a fork.

Place all of the empanadas on a non-stick cookie tray and spray the pan and empanadas with olive oil spray.

Bake in the oven for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
