NewNowNext Award 왜이러심!

앞서 NewNowNext Awards에 대해 언급했었는데요,

오늘 블로그 관련 기사가 났길래 봤더니, NKOTBSB 싱글 제목을 죄다 잘못 써놨네요.

NKOTBSB Single Released! Listen to “Don’t Turn Off the Lights”

At this point pretty much everyone knows that the New Kids on The Block and the Backstreet Boys (aka NKOTBSB) are touring this summer. And that they have an album coming at you on May 24th. And you may also know that this summer’s megatour event is up for one of Logo’s 2011 NewNowNext Awards for “Best New Indulgence.” (Love that!)

Well, what you might not know is that they already have a brand new song getting served up by the boys (collectively) called Don't Turn Off the Lights. Much to everyone’s pleasure, the combined boy-band/supergroup leaked the song on a cruise and a fan captured it all.

And…??? The song is catchy and upbeat, and it stresses the importance of second chances. (Ahem. Clever, right?) And the tune is all about still being in love. Some of the lyrics read: “I know we haven’t been getting along/ I don’t want to say goodbye / Memories come flooding back / I love you like that / We can get it back again / Don’t turn out the lights now.”

Awwww… Whattya think? Will this song become to be summer a party favorite and a car classic? only time will tell, but can’t help but think that Don't Turn Off the Lights gives fans hope that in addition to mash-ups, everyone can still expect some original collaborations from NKOTBSB. Boy-bands are forever!!!
